Sunshine City Comedy Club is the boutique room on Gulf Boulevard. 5501 Gulf Blvd, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. Comedian Kenny Garcia opened it in 2023. Three weekly open mics. $5 if you perform or if you just watch. Buy on the calendar or at the door. Sign-up to perform is in person even if you already paid online. The list opens one hour before start and runs first come, first served.

Tuesday, 8 p.m. Doors and the list at 7 p.m. New material, new comics, regulars.
Friday New Jack Open Mic, 10 p.m. After the weekend headliner. Same $5, same in-person list, one hour before.
Sunday, 8 p.m. List at 7 p.m. The week-reset mic.
The rest of the week is booked shows: Bob and Jake’s Monday, Stand Up Confidential on Wednesday, Sunshine City All Stars on Thursday, and touring headliners Friday and Saturday. Those are not the mics. Check the calendar before you drive.
How to get there
Drive and park out front, or take the SunRunner to 55th Avenue and walk a minute. St. Pete Beach also runs Freebee, the free electric golf-cart ride, anywhere in the city.
Garcia also runs Clearwater Comedy Club at 483 Mandalay Avenue, Unit 210, second floor of Pelican Plaza. Same phone. If you are already on that side of the bridges, that is the other room.
