Monday Open Mic at Coastal Dayz Brewery in Fort Myers

Monday nights in Fort Myers, the other weekly stand-up room is at Coastal Dayz Brewery downtown. Southwest Florida Stand-Up Comedy Studio starts at 6:30 p.m. Pixie2Sneakers hosts and produces it. Guest hosts rotate through, including Alex Pino, Dante Pastore, Tim Mayta, and others.

Free for comics and for anyone who just wants a pint and a set. 21 and up.

Hours, from the brewery:

• Monday–Thursday: 2:30 p.m.–9 p.m.
• Friday: 12:30 p.m.–10 p.m.
• Saturday: noon–10 p.m.
• Sunday: 11 a.m.–8 p.m.

Monday the room is open before 6:30. Comedy usually runs until around 9 or 9:30. Get there while they are pouring.

Monday night

Show up at 6:30. If you want on the list, grab a free ticket on Eventbrite, scan the QR in the room, or message Pixie on Instagram at @pixie2sneakers. Sign-up is at 6:30.

Pixie produces and hosts most weeks. When she is out or splitting the night, guest hosts have included Alex Pino, Dante Pastore, and Tim Mayta. New comics and people with an hour in progress both use this room. The brewery listing calls it a studio: work out material, get notes from other comics and from the crowd, come back next Monday.

If you do not do stand-up, you do not need a ticket. Sit down, get a beer, watch.

Two rooms, two nights

Fort Myers has a Monday and a Wednesday now. Coastal Dayz is the brewery studio. Stet’s Bar is the Wednesday workshop with Evolving Comedy, social hour 7, mic at 8. Different rooms, different hosts, both free. Do both if you can.
