Kelsey Cook’s first Netflix hour lands next week. Happy Hour premieres Tuesday, August 18. It is her third special, after last year’s Mark Your Territory and 2023’s The Hustler.
She taped it last October at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. Eric Abrams directed. Abrams also exec produced with Cook and Lisa Mierke. Matt Schuler produced. Netflix rates it TV-MA.
Netflix’s own line: “In this candid and clever stand-up special, Kelsey Cook explores ‘hangxiety,’ relives a plane bathroom nightmare and breaks down dating a literal Chad.” It goes up on Netflix August 18. Official trailer is below.

Cook financed the taping herself, then sold the hour to Netflix. She is currently headlining her Reasonable Bedtime Tour.
Mark Your Territory went up on Hulu and YouTube in February 2025. The YouTube cut sits at about 1.7 million views. The Hustler, from 2023, has about 4.4 million.
Deadline, which broke the August 18 date, lists the Fitzgerald taping and the Abrams, Mierke, and Schuler credits.
